About Christine Graves, aka, Mom Graves

 About Me

Welcome to Single Gray.

I’m Christine—a writer of more than forty years, a mother of two grown children, a grandmother to four incredible grandbabies, and at fifty-seven, completely and happily single.

For decades, my life was defined by the roles I played for others. I’ve been married twice, navigated the long chapters of family life, and spent eleven years working in professional elder care. But life has a way of turning the page when you least expect it. Finding yourself single and standing on your own two feet in later life can feel daunting at first—but if you look closely, it’s actually an invitation. It’s a blank canvas.

When I’m not running operations as a hotel housekeeping manager, I am immersed in my creative worlds. I manage a portfolio of distinct blogs covering everything from ancient history and folklore to creative non-fiction. I am also an avid digital creator, managing a massive archive of over 20,000 AI art files across platforms like NightCafe and Leonardo AI, blending technology with classic vintage aesthetics.

Single Gray is a space dedicated to the art of reinventing yourself when the house is quiet and the future is entirely yours to write. It’s about finding your voice, embracing the independence of this chapter, and realizing that being alone doesn’t mean being lonely—it means being free to become exactly who you were always meant to be.

I’m so glad you’re here for the journey. Pull up a chair, pour a cup of coffee, and let’s figure out this next chapter together.
